After surviving appendiceal cancer in my 20s, I became interested in how people handle pressure and what allows some to recover while others do not. That carried into combat and endurance sports, as well as corporate leadership and entrepreneurship.
As an athlete, I became the first Featherweight Champion of the Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC), completed the FWD North Pole Marathon as the first Filipino cancer survivor, and finished the full distance of the inaugural Ironman Philippines.
During the pandemic lockdown, I competed in The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition and was a finalist.
In my professional work, including leadership roles at AXA Philippines across strategy, procurement, and transformation, I saw how structure and accountability shape outcomes.
This reinforced a simple principle. Preparation determines results.
Resilience is built through clear thinking, ownership, and discipline. My work focuses on helping leaders, teams, and individuals apply these in how they think, decide, and lead.
